The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.
SASSA will be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed concerning the significant number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The provider level produced for intervention encounters a superior influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more means to permit the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
